Jay Heilman
Jay is the Principal Owner of JPH Building Inc. and Firehouse Design. He was educated locally at the Academy at Charlemont, Greenfield Community College, and UMass Amherst. He has 30 years of experience in the building trade. Jay has a deep knowledge of the technical and structural aspects of construction but also has an innate sense of design. In his downtime, he enjoys being in the outdoors and working on his gentleman’s farm in the hills of Heath.
Jake Orzechowski
Jake came to JPH from Plymouth State University. He grew up locally in the Hilltown area. His drive and determination allowed him to quickly work his way up at JPH. Starting as a laborer, his potential was unmistakable, he soon took on the role of Project Manager with great success, and is now a full partner. Jake brings enthusiasm, organization, and focus to the JPH team. When he’s not working, you can find him outdoors, skiing, fishing, camping, or hiking.
Jen Heilman
Jen is the Lead Designer for Firehouse Design {a division of JPH Building, Inc.} & Assistant Production Manager for JPH Building Inc. She was educated at Vermont Technical College and Montana State University where she earned degrees in architectural and interior design. Jen has been working in the design-build industry for the last 25 years. She brings her knowledge of well-designed and well-loved living environments to the team. In her downtime, she enjoys being a homebody and spending time in the outdoors near her home.
LAURA ALLEN
Laura is the office manager for JPH Building Inc. As office manager Laura excels in this integral role at JPH. This role highlights her organizational skills and her understanding of the behind-the-scenes complexities we encounter daily. Laura is revered here at JPH for her creative cooking skills and is our resident ‘foodie’…we all look forward to Monday morning meeting! When she’s not working (or cooking for the JPH team!) you can find her enjoying time at home with her family or dinner with friends.
COURTNEY ALLEN
Courtney was first introduced to JPH through her high school capstone project. She spent the day at our offices to learn more about the Design-Build industry. Her positive attitude and drive captivated us immediately and we asked her to come work for us! Her hard work and dedication to JPH over the last few years have her working her way toward a project manager position. When she’s not at work, you can find her having an adventure with her friends.
